Relational Connection Workshop

with Dr. Mary Underwood
and Dr. Elizabeth Perry

A live experiential somatic workshop for women who want to feel more connected to themselves and to the people who matter to them.

Through group somatic work and somatic brain integration, grounded in friendship and mutual support, we explore how old patterns shape connection—and how we can shift into healthier ways of being together that support overall wellness.

You will receive an individual guided somatic brain integration session within the group setting, prepared especially for you from what you share ahead of time.

About

What this workshop is

If you’ve been looking for a small community of women who value genuine connection and want to build real friendships, this is a live, experiential workshop on relational connection — to yourself and to others. Mary and Elizabeth facilitate together. You’ll spend time in the group with somatic work, conversation, and support, and you will receive an individual guided somatic brain integration session within the group setting, prepared from what you share ahead of time.

The work is experiential. You’re invited to notice what you notice — a sensation, a thought, a feeling, a shift, or nothing at all. There’s no technique to learn and nothing you’re expected to practice on your own. You can pause, stop, or step back at any time.

It is not therapy and not treatment. In this workshop we support one another inside a small community, tending to both body and mind at the same time. The somatic approach makes room for the nervous system to settle while we are actually with other people. After the somatic brain integration and somatic work, you get to experience connection from a different place — with new perspectives and a little more room. The workshop is meant to feel supportive, enjoyable, and fun.

FOUNDER OF DAYLIGHT WITH MARY

Mary Underwood holds a master’s and a PhD in Somatic Studies and Depth Psychology and is a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner. She developed somatic brain integration, an experiential approach that supports specific patterns in the brain, mind, and body so the differentiated parts can work better together.

As founder of Daylight with Mary, she offers private live sessions and recorded guided sessions. In both formats she does the integration work while the person stays with what they notice. The focus is on supporting greater coherence, clearer thinking, and personal agency.

In this workshop she offers group somatic work and prepares personalized guided sessions for each participant from what they share. She lives and works in Southern California.
